Learning & Development
Smith and Partners offers a full induction programme upon joining the firm to ensure a smooth transition. We value the development of our team, and encourage continual legal education through external courses and internal training programmes, as well as professional development courses such as client relationship building and networking.
As a lawyer starting out on your career, you will get hands on file experience across the full range of specialties. Working side by side with the client Director, you will assist with the management of the client relationship. You will have direct access to both Directors, who will encourage and support you, and be hands on in the development of your legal knowledge and experience.
As an intermediate to senior solicitor we offer the ability to work in your area of specialty while still learning other areas of the law. You will have overall responsibility for managing client relationships, and experience a balance of mentoring and supervision with ability to work independently.
We respect and value our support staff as an integral part of our team. You’ll work in attractive offices with modern legal management systems on an interesting array of work.
