Mimi Lewell

Mimi is a highly experienced estates administrator, who combines expert knowledge with empathy and meticulous attention to detail. Mimi is a compassionate guide through the process of administering a loved one’s estate, easing their stress and the burden for executors.

Mimi joined Smith and Partners in 2002, and her extensive depth of knowledge from doing the estate administration for thousands of deceased estates in New Zealand enables her to provide expert guidance on everything from simple estates through to complex estates involving international assets, overseas wills.

Skilled in the Court process for both probate applications, and with applying for letters of administration when there is no will, Mimi can assist with all of the Court filing, bringing in the assets of the estate, transmissions, liaising with accountants for estate taxes, recording the estate accounts and final distributions to beneficiaries.

Mimi has a creative background holding a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota with a double major in Anthropology and Spanish along with a double minor in Latin American Studies and Cross Cultural Communication.

She is also one of the talented team members of the Jubilation Acappella Gospel Choir. A proud Westie, Mimi has lived in West Auckland for over twenty years and appreciates the diverse opportunities her children enjoyed going to local schools.
